
PsychNight was a successful event on 8th March, this is all because of we've got the supports from UNMC students, lecturers and counselors.

Before the event started, visitors from Open Hands were being guided to have a tour around UNMC and they really enjoyed themselves during the tour.

Before the guests get into the hall, they would pass through a red-light tunnel right in front of the entrance which its wall was pasted by lots of factual reports about abuse. Thanks to Salik and Ruben for putting their efforts into setting up this.
The event started by playing PsychSoc's past events slide show, followed by Prof. Peter's opening speech. After that, a recording of Ms. Ivy Josiah's speech from Woman Aids Organization was played.
The representative from Open Hands Orphanage, Mr. Anba gave a speech and followed by kids' dance performance.
PsychSoc raised RM 563.50 during Christmas Charity Bake Sale for Open Hands Orphanage last year.
After the performance, intermission started. Fried bee hoon, nuggets, sausages, curry puffs and lemonade drinks provided.
Congratulations to those who won the special gifts sponsored by Sapura, 3 days 2 nights trip to Langkawi and Cherating sponsored by Holiday Villa.
After the intermission, the band Three performed 2 songs, the first one being a medley of Martina McBride's Concrete Angel and Good Charlotte's Hold on, and their second song Skyscraper by Demi Lovato.
A play "The Awkward Silence" was followed after the band performance, it is a story about an abusive father with her 2 little girl and their neighbors. Below are some scenes of it:

| Nottingham Brings a Smile (NBAS) 2012 is a charity carnival to raise funds for Malaysian Council for Rehabilitation (MCR) and Malaysian Rare Disorders Society (MRDS), it takes place on 24 March (Saturday). PsychSoc has taken up the responsibility to sell brownies and conduct 2 games at the event. The profits will be shared by PsychSoc as well as various charity organization. Please help PsychSoc at this charitable event by volunteering and coming to the booth. We would appreciate if you could help us at the booth.
